How our AI works
Mortza's guide is an AI system. It answers questions and organizes your scenario using a curated library of mortgage information. It does not make credit decisions, quote rates, or take applications.
You're talking to AI
The Mortza guide is an AI model, not a person, and it identifies itself that way at the start of every conversation. A licensed loan officer only joins after you choose to share your contact details.
Where its answers come from
The guide draws on Mortza's own program guides and federal consumer sources such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Lender requirements vary and change, so the guide describes how programs generally work and tells you when a licensed loan officer needs to confirm a detail.
Limits
- No approvals, pre-approvals or eligibility guarantees.
- No interest rates, APRs, fees or payment quotes.
- It can make mistakes. Important details are confirmed by a licensed loan officer and in your official disclosures.
Calling (858) 348-LOAN
Calls to Mortza's phone line are answered by an AI phone assistant, which says it is an AI and that the call is recorded at the start of every call. It asks the same questions as the quote form on our website, reads the contact consent aloud and only sends your request to a licensed loan officer if you agree. Like the website guide, it doesn't quote rates or terms, approve loans, or ask for Social Security numbers or account numbers. If you'd rather talk to a person, say so and a licensed loan officer will call you back.
Pictures on local pages
Some pictures on our local loan pages are made with an AI image tool. They are labeled "Illustrative image" and show the general style of homes in an area. They are not photos of a specific property, listing or neighborhood, and they never show real people.
Your data
Conversations are used to answer you and, if you choose, to prepare a summary for a loan officer. Mortza does not ask for or want Social Security numbers, account numbers or documents in the chat. Conversations are not used to train third-party AI models. See the privacy notice.
